ALSS is looking for experienced Maritime Security Officers complying with the Industry standards and Company requirements.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years continuous military service experience
• STCW 95 Certificate
• SSO (Ship Security Officer)
• Seafarers Medical Certificate (ENG1)
• Yellow fever vaccination certificate
• MSO Course
• Passport (with a minimum of 6 months remaining and blank pages for visa applications)
• Mental Health Clearance
• Exemplary Testimonial and proof of Military service (if applicable)
• Criminal Record Check
• Fire Arms Competency Certificate
• Seaman’s Card and Discharge Book disclosure
• Trauma/1st Aid qualification (desirable)
• Multilingual (desirable)
• 2 recent references

All the above qualifications have been developed to meet the needs of ISO/PAS 9001:2008, ISO/PAS 28007:2013 & ISO/PAS 28007-1:2015 in order to comply with Maritime Security Standards.
